Every first booking is screened, and only once. Your screening details are seen only by me and deleted the day after our date. One route is enough, though two are always welcome. The first booking is careful, and after that it is simply a message and a date.

Government-issued photo identification, meaning a passport, an official identity card or a driving licence, with your address obscured. This route is open to everyone, first booking or fifth.

A reference from a companion you’ve seen in the last six months.

Send your first message from your work email, with a link to your company and to your LinkedIn profile. The email address should clearly belong to the company you work for. If you run your own business, your company’s website does the same job.

I am on P411, which many of my American guests already use. If you have an account, give me your P411 details when you write and that takes care of screening in one step. If you do not, there are other ways, and none of them are difficult.

For a small number of gentlemen whose position means no digital record is possible. It’s by arrangement only, and it’s screening in a different form, not an alternative to it: I meet a trusted representative of yours in person, and a non-disclosure agreement is available. If this applies to you, mention it when you first get in touch and I’ll let you know whether it can be arranged.

My email is held in an encrypted mailbox that only I can read. If you’d like our messages password-protected too, just ask.
